Alexander Hopkins of Boston, MA married Elizabeth Chubb of Marblehead, MA on Aug 26, 1767. They had two children that I know of: Elizabeth Hopkins b 1772 and baptized in New North Church in Boston and Nathaniel Digerdee Hopkins b 1774 in Boston, MA. He married Esther Duer b @1775 NJ in Holmes Co., Ohio. Nathaniel and Esther had son John Duer Hopkins who went to Iowa in 1853. His son, also named John Duer Hopkins, married Amy Bancroft and had 13 children.
Looking for any connection to my William Henry Hopkins in Jackson Co., Iowa in 1860. He married Kate Moore in 1864 after his return from the Civil War. They had 5 kids, only one son William B. Hopkins b 1865.
