Malcolm:Suggest you do as I did, check the land records housed at Hartford'[s Ct. State Library. You will find the Quit Claim Deed I verified that stated "John Burnham and his wife Mary" forfeited all rights in "propery owned by their father John Catlin.John Catlin' dau. had proven birth of 1666.She was granddaughter of Thomas.
Above is pure fact, not speculation.
Meanwhile, although some descendants claimed Mary Olcott married John Burnham, that notion was not accepted.Family decided stronger evidence indicated she married John Case.
