Rick: THere are three distinct but related branches of Churchills that trace back to Colonial New England. They are Massachusetts, Connecticut and Manhattan. The branches have a common ancestor that stretches back to England, likely sometime before 1600 - revealed by recent DNA testing. The given name NATHANIEL has been handed down from generation to generation in both the MA. and Ct. branches. Both branches have Nathaniels who married women by the name of Eunice. There are clues however that suggest George Churchill, who also answered your query, is on the right path. After the Seven Year War, many of the Churchills of the MA. branch immigrated to the east coast of Canada. As George's data will reveal, there is loads of data to verify a Canadian connection. If, for some reason the Canadians don't match, look to the Connecticut branch which also posts data re. a Nathaniel Churchill who had a married dau. named Eunice.
