Kandis, Curiosity query.
I take it Abigail Prather Churchill Is/was a member of the American Virginia family? Present day male VA Churchills seem to be far and few between. Out of curosity do you know any?

When we started our Churchill DNA Project we were initially unable to find a male VA Churchill. Finally a female VA Churchill joined. She talked a cousin into testing. Turned out he matched the English family. Do you have any idea how large the present day VA family is? Do you know of any published ancestry?

They are one of two ancient Churchill families of England and date from 1300. In England they are known as Oxfordshire Churchills. Our testing revealed that the two English families were not at all related - which was a surprise in that historically it was thought the two English families were related.
