Peggy if all else fails we do have a CHURCHILL DNA Project. If you know a present day male of the line you could test and learn your English Churchill family group.

For information there were two ancient English Churchill families. The Oxfordshire Churchills are the lesser known. They date from 1300 in Oxfordshire.

The other family is the Devon Churchills. They date from Normandy in the time before the conquest (around 1100). The Devon family is the more prominent family of English Churchills. The DNA Project has signatures for both families. If you tested what you would learn is simply your family of origin or that you are not related to either family. Bill
