Susanna,

The Cisneros family has a special place in the history of my family---Maria de la Paz Cisneros Longoria Trevino abt. 1860 raised my grandmother Maria Catarina Lucio Garza 14 July 1894. Mama Paz as she was called was the only mother, my grandmother knew. Mama Paz and my great grandmother Catarina Garza Trevino 21 Sept 1857 were first cousins, and they lived on family land holdings near "El Ranchito" a hamlet within the bounderies of "El Paraje Chapeno", east of Matamoros, Tamps. The family story is that not knowing what the 1910 revolution would bring---went north into the safty of the United States. Many families from this area left for the U.S. Pancho Villa would bring death and destruction to the area in 1913. I could go on with this long story---but in keeping it short I will end it here. I am really not sure if your Cisneros line is the same but it could be.
