Patricia,
I don't mind sharing my information so freely because it's all about sharing our family info and the more I share, the more I get back.I have a bunch of stuff on the Cissnas in Hinds and Yazoo County and will put it together for you and we can connect online with a snailmail address to send it because I am certain that this is your branch. The more you know about the other family lines, the more it helps your sort out your own line. For instances!!A line that I have never paid any attention to is an early marriage in Adams Co of a Cessna/Cissna.I have to look up his first name...........but he married a gal named S. Marie Fuller.I have always wondered about the Fuller connection and you may be it.It's not a coincidence that you folks are connected to the Fullers. In Kentucky, the intermarriages are unbelieveable.None of the names of the women, Pamelia, Isophene or Lavina are common Cessna names.Usually they are Sarah (sallie) or Elizabeth or Hettie.I know that there is an Amelia in the Cissnas/Cessnas in Hinds Co so that connects the families also.I wonder if Amelia was one of the early Cessna womens names in Miss???I wonder if you ever go into the Cessna Family Genealogy Forum because I have been putting out emails to the Cessna researchers about my theories and am sort of "questioning" some of the "assumed facts" of the early families.Shaking up the tree limbs a bit!!!I will probably end up making someone angry by suggesting things such as Col Charles did not die in Pa but died in Mississippi. Many people have joined DAR due to this man.....but before I get going on more "disruptive" emails, I need to re read my Cessna books. If you don't mind I would reallllly like to stay in touch with you and gleen more info about your family in relationship to William W.When you mentioned Theophilus, I just knew.....that is soooo Cessna, that name.I will share with you and hopefully tidbits will help with your line. I like that you found Robert Anderson in Hinds Co.See they intermarried there and moved into Franklin Co,La and at a time that the whole area was developing.So......let me send you some stuff on the email privately. It will take a couple of weeks because I am heading to San Francisco for the weekend with friends and this will all have to wait until after Christmas......I'm spread pretty thin.I once found your family in La but none of the names were familiar except Williams so I didn't pursue it.Ok....I will be in touch but I suggest you go into the Cessna Family Forum and read some of my emails.....George Shirley,...Richard Culbertson.....and you can see some of our work and issues. My best and happy holidays,Cheryl Cessna and feel freee to forward any questions that pop into your head...
