My ggg-g'father, Daniel Bright (b. 1840 in Knox Cty, TN) was a private in Company D of the 1st Tennessee Infantry, which was organized in 1861 at Camp Dick Robinson, KY. He is listed on the National Parks Soldiers & Sailors site as having died 19 Dec 1862. I cannot find the circumstances or place of his death, nor where he is buried. He doesn't appear on online Civil War POW records. Any ideas? I appreciate any help you can offer.
