Pension, possible NY soldier

Trying to find info on a soldier whose grave has a GAR marker, but I cannnot locate his record in The Archives or www.civilwardata.co. Leander L. Arnold, born about 1827, buried 1920 in Herman, Nebraska. I found two Leanders, one in RI, the other PA, but the family insists he served NY in the 22nd. I checked all three NY 22nd Infantry, but no Leander. Any details appreciated.
