1890 Veteran's Census

Reuben Seamans is listed on the Three Rivers, Saint Joseph Michigan 1890 Veteran's census but there is no information. No rank, no enlistment date, date of discharge, company -- nothing. There are several other listed with no information.

I've searched everywhere and can't find anything. He came from New York between 1860 - 1870 so many have served in a New York or Michigan unit but I can't find him anywhere. Does anyone have an idea where I can look next?
