>>TUESDAY, 2 DEC 1862<<

RESIGNED -- Captain AKEY, Company E., 2nd Regiment C.V., has resigned his command. The company is now at Benicia.

DISHONORED -- 3 soldiers of the 2nd Cavalry, C.V., at Camp Babbitt, Visalia, under command of Lieut.-Col. EVANS, were on the 16th November, discharged from the service for unsoldierlike and insubordinate conduct. Their names are Edward FOLEY, James OTT and Martin CANARY.
