Susan,

The informative reply from James now puts you closer to proving that your Peter Baugh was possibly one of the soldiers claimed and removed by his family.
I entered Peter Baugh's name into the Nationial Cemeteries listing and his name was NOT there in Virginia or elsewhere.
This puts you back in Ga. asking yourself what county was his family living in the years following the war.
