Was wondering if anyone can help me with some of my Williamson's from Tennessee. The following sons of DJ Williamson all went to the war and I have unanswered questions as to which unit's they were a part of:

John A. Williamson (b. 1835 Rutherford CO TN) survived the war.

Lunsford P. Williamson (b. abt. 1837 in Rutherford CO TN) survived the war.

Henry Clay Williamson (b. abt 1839 in Rutherford CO TN) survived the war.

Wilson W. Williamson (b. 1843 in Rutherford or Dyer County TN) survived the war.

Samuel P. Williamson (b. abt 1845 in Rutherford or Dyer CO TN) Unsure if he even went to war, but if he did, he survived.

R. T. Williamson (name is probably Robert) (b. abt. 1848 in Dyer County TN) Unsure if he even went to war or even lived to see the start.

DJ (Devereaux Jarrett) Jr. Williamson (b. July 1850) Unsure if he even went to war, but if he did, he survived.

It is said that they all went together to "sign up" for the war or enlist. I found a John A. Williamson in Co. K. 15th Tenn Calv. However, I have no verification that is him. Also, their sister's husband was found in the 14th Neely's Calv. Can you steer me in the right direction to clear this up???

Please email any info you have to jacki.brusseau@cheyennemountain.af.mil
