i need to know how to find a record that might list a wife so i can prove my line. i have a james andrews who married rebecca mcneel. in a book she is listed as his widow stating he was a private served 4 months. no other info. they lived in ohio when he enlisted and she ended up in KY. i have a listing for a James Andrews age 24 enslisted in co E 32nd ohio inf. on 7-27-1861 and died 9-29-1863 in annapolis MD and buried in annapolis cemetery. any ideas on how to prove this is my guy? the ages add up. thanks.
