we know that he served in Company G, 150th Pennsylvania unit, wounded and survived Gettysburg, according to obit, it states that after Gettysburg, he was sent to protect President Lincoln and was one of the soldiers that carried the president out of the theater. Where would I be able to locate records to back the claim?
