Hi Arlene, You are a missing branch of my wife's Clappison tree. Welcome to the tree!! Here is the address of the web page with Jane on it. http://members.rogers.com/deboern/clappison/pafg01.htm#2716
You will see we have no additional info but now we have more. We did not realize she came to Canada also. Her brother Thomas (my wife's family line)came to Canada in 1852 or 1853 and settled just north of Hamilton Ontario. The crossroads they settle is now called Clappison's Corners. We would love to here more about your line of the family. Do you know where in Canada they settled? Please email me a deboern@rogers.com to share more info.
Neil
