Was it you that had Dandridge Clasby? I believe this will help establish a connection to Dandridge B. Clasby as the son of Dandridge Clasby of Nelson Co. Va.

This indenture made this 26 day of January 1829. Between Dandridge Clasby of the State of Tennessee of the one part
and David Y. Garland of the state of Virginia of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Dandridge Clasby for and in consideration of the sum of Eighty dollars to have in hand paid by the said Garland the recipt of which is acknowledged before the ensealing and delivery of these presents. Have bargained and sold and delivered and do by these Heirs presents Bargain sell and deliver to the said Garland his heirs and assigns one certain tract or parcel of land lying and being n the county of Nelson on the north
side of Tye River and adjoining the same. Containing forty acres be the same more or less and adjoins the Land of William Clasby dec'd and as the same land which was deeded to him by Stephen Watts as agent to John Loving, and admitted to record in the County of Nelson, September 27, 1818. To have and to hold this said tract or parcel of land to the said David Y. Garland his heirs and assigns the said Dandridge Clasby for himself his heirs exor.and admr. will warrent and for ever defend against the claim of all and every person whatsoever The witnesses whereof the said Dandridge Clasby hath at his Hand Viz. Seal the day and year aforesaid.

Humphreys County. I Dawsey P. Hendson clerk of the court of pleas. Viz Party where for said County do hereby certify that at the passing term 1829 afore said Court the within deed of Conveyance was produced in open Court and duly acknowledged by Dandridge Clasby a party here to, to be his act and Deed for the purpose therein mentioned.
The Witnesses whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my private seal these being being no other seal of court. done at office this 30th day of January A.D. 1829

This Deed was returned into said Court duly certified from the court of Humphrey County and State of Tennessee and the same is ordered to be here recorded in this County.
