Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Hi Barbara

I have John on my tree, although I am not directly descended from him. I have the GRO index reference, from which you can order the birth certificate.

June Quarter 1847 John William Clasby district; Portsea

Portsea is an area of Portsmouth. John's parents were Stephen Clasby & Sarah Jenkins.

If I can help you further, feel free to get in touch.

Best wishes

Debbie
