Hello Shelley,
We're like old friends aren't we! I havent found out anything more regarding my father's grandparents, since your news about Anthony Clave B. 1819 and parents David Clave and Rachel McCargo and sister B. 1814. I really appreciate everything you have found out for me Shelley. I am only amatuer on the computer, I have only been on it since June , I guess I have a long way to go.
I am trying to research my mothers ancestors too. The hardest part is obtaining proof of events. My materal greatparents were John Fraser M. Janet Westurales or Westwater in Glasgow in 1850. Came to Australia in 1863 with five children and had 3 more out here. I should have proof of this marriage shortly I hope. Maybe their parents aswell. My main interest is the Clave line.
I am from North Queensland, Australia.
All the best, hear from you soon.
Ronald.
