Your name is the only one on this list so I thought I'd say Hi and that I'm doing Clave too now..or I hope I am. It's nice not to be the only one on this name...even if we may not connect. What a fun hobby. I love it.
You didn't give much information so I can't tell if we connect or not. Do you have any dates or siblings or wife etc.???
I have no proof but I think my ancestor is Agnes CLAVE...my reasoning is: My Walter Barr b. 1828 married an Agnes and had some kids. Alexander was one of them and and he was b. 1860 in Scotland according to the 1881 census. My Robert Barr 1863 is the brother of Alexander. The only Alexander I found on the IGI was b. in 1860 and was son of Walter Barr and Agnes CLAVE...so I'm assuming this is him...it fits so well.
The Kids and dates look like this:
Descendants of Walter Barr
1 Walter Barr b: Abt. 1828 in Scotland
.. +Agnes b: Abt. 1833 in Scotland
......... 2 Alexander Barr b: Abt. 1861 in Scotland
......... 2 Robert Barr b: Abt. 1863 in Claughton, Cheshire, England
............. +Kate Bradbury b: November 07, 1864 in St. Helens, Lancashire, Eng. m: February 09, 1886 d: August 23, 1944 in Victoria, , BC, CANADA
......... 2 John Barr b: Abt. 1866 in Claughton, Cheshire, England
......... 2 James H. Barr b: Abt. 1870 in Huyton, Lancashire, England

......... 2 Mary J. Barr b: Abt. 1873 in Roby, Lancashire, England

I would love to here from you on this line.
Bye for now,
