My records indicate the Polly Clavell your are researching is actually Mary Clavell, b. 1810 Bath Co.Ky; md. Robert McNulty either 4 Apr 1833 or 31 July 1842. Mary was the dau. of Zodock Clavell & second wife, Elizabeth Shaffner.

Zodock Clavell was killed 20 May 1813 while plowing--he stopped to adjust the team harness when a flock of wild turkeys spooked the horses and he was killed by the plow. Besides Mary, Zodock was the father of John (b.25 Nov 1808), and Zodock, Jr. (b. 1813 at "the Point", Bath Co.Ky.)

I have no further data on Mary Clavell & Robert McNulty, but believe Zodock (d.1813) was a brother to my husband's Elizabeth. Would be happy to supply any other data if you contact me at the above address.
