after war ,settled in Monticello, Ark.-dealt in harness,saddlery,&etc, had 7 BROTHERS & SISTERS (I don't know them)
Rueben's FIRST MARRIAGE resulted in the Philo Glenn CLAYTON father of Lambert CLAYTON and his descendants of whom V.Green is related.
Rueben's SECOND MARRIAGE in 1849 to
ELIZABETH BLESSINGAME (from S.Carolina)
begat
EFFIE CLAYTON (b1879) (half-sis of Philo)
who married R.F. HYATT
There may be HYATTs from this line but I don't have them.
Effie's bro (half-bro of Philo)
RUEBEN CLAYTON Jr.(b.1873)
married I.Z.? unknown
their dau.
TOLLIE CLAYTON (b1900-d1902)
obviously died without decendants. She and others are buried at ? Creek Cem. near Hope, Arkansas.
