Jefferson Baird Clayton

My Grandfather was born Harry Clayton, Dec 16 1879 in Becaria Clearfield, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania to his mother, Mary E Bryan, daughter of George and Elizabeth Bryan, In the 1880 Census for Cambria County Grandpa was list as 6M old. Threw records I obtained from Ebinsberg Pennsylvania, Grandpa was given up for adoption in May of 1882, his name listed as Clayton Bryan, changed to Clayton Arthur after being adopted bt John T Arthur of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. After also receiving a letter identifying Grandpa as living in Niles,Ohio around 1903 I found a coinsidental connection that is more speculation then fact but have taken this direction and am looking to identify the connection if there is one.
In the 1880 Census for Ohio there also is a record of a 'Clayton' 1M old listed in the same list as a (Jefferson)J.B. Clayton and an (Florence)F.C. Clayton.
In follow up I have located further a family line on Rootsweb for Jefferson and Florence with family lines going back to the mid 1600's. The indivigual who is listed as the contact for this line has not had an update since 2006, a M.K.Lietner.
If you have any information you wish to share or questions you may have for me I am available by E-Mail. Please respond. I am the last of my grandfathers adult males line. I do have a young son I am researching our family history for him, this means a lot to me, I appreciate any contribution you may be able to share.
Thank you in advance...Sincerely
