Hi Katy!

I think that we corresponded several years ago about this branch of the family. You've added "Monroe" to the end of your name since then. I found (from a census entry I beleive) that Sarah's father was born in North Carolina, but that's as close as I've ever been able to come regarding her parents. The other story that i've heard about cornelius was a possible brush with the law so he changed his name to avoid further involvement. Again, no proof, only old family tales (or guesses). Hope all is well.
