I made a copy of a microfilm found at the LDS Genealogy Library in SLC found on William Cleaves. The print on the original document is very small, so I will do the best I can. I can not find a date on this book, but I do believe it was a record book from a county or church. The info I am giving you comes from pages 74 and 75. The top of the page says: The family of William and Margaret (Corey) Cleaves (This is on the left-hand side of the page) (This is on the right-hand side of the page)William Cleaves and Margaret Corey were married May 18, 1683 married by Moses (can't read last name). On the left-hand side of the page lists the names of their children. b July 22, 1686 William b March 31 1688 Hannah d April 19 1688 b July 21, 1689 Ebenezer b October 23, 1693 Benjamin On the right-hand side of the page after the list on left is a notation that says: Margaret the mother was a daughter of Giles Corey of Salem Village, who was (can't read the rest very well, maybe one of you can decipher what little bit I can give you) forefied to death in the _________ in the witch delgsion(?) in 1692. Then it goes on to list other Cleaves family that I believe are related to William and Margaret, but I am not sure how. John and Mercy Cleaves William and Martha Cleaves William and Rebecca Cleaves William and Mary Cleaves Benjamin and Rebecca Cleaves Next page: Benjamin and Anna Cleaves Ebenezer and Sarah Cleaves Joshua and Elizabeth Cleaves Another Joshua and Elizabeth Cleaves Andrew and Susanna Cleaves William P and Elizabeth Cleaves If anybody would like a copy of these two pages, let me know. I will do the best I can in making copies or trying to enlarge the information. Give me your snailmail addresses and I can see what I can do. Carrie
