Thanks for the info, I'm guessing that our John is the one born in 1789. I have the 1850 census in Saco showing John at 60 years of age with his family. I was thinking that he had a brother named Ezekiel. When John and his first wife lived up in Smithfield there was an Ezekiel Cleaves close by. When John came back to Saco, Ezekiel stayed in Smithfield. I'll have to do some more research on that.
