I have recently been trying to research the Clepper family. I am related to the Texas Clepper's but I know my roots go back to Tennessee. William Clepper was my great grandfather. I have no real information on him but I believe that he came from Tennessee. I am told his father was John Clepper and mother was Mary Birdwell both from Tennessee.
I would appreciate any help anyone might be able to give me on the Texas or Tennessee family. I have one aunt left who has helped with what she knows. But I would really like to get past my great grandparents.
