Betty,Re this Anna Barbara, In reading through these message I believe I encountered one that said the this Anna Barbara did not like the name Anna and called herself only by Barbara. Are you are suggesting in your comments below that the person who married Johannes Hagler could be this Barbara? Interesting!
[cut from previous post]
That brings up the possibility of the daughter Anna Barbara b. 1724 who was on the ship with the immigrant and his family who arrived in 1732 in
Philadelphia on the "Adventure", Hieronymus b. 1703, his wife Maria Madeline born 1702, his daughters Anne Margaret b. 1723, Anna Barbara b. 1724 and
his son Hans (John) Michael b. 1728.
But Anna Barbara would have been 36 years old in 1760. Where did this date (1760) come from? Could her marriage to John Hagler been a second marriage?
Did you find a marriage bann for her? Where did you learn about John Hagler's wife and are you sure her surname was Clontz? I'm interested and perhaps
someone else has other information that they will share. It for sure that she is of one of these two generations.
