Hi Linda,

It was so nice to hear from you! Yes, I did make some progress on the Hanes family and most of my info matches yours... only that I have the youngest child's name listed as Laura or Flora (wasn't sure which one it was supposed to be), so Izora is a new variation of it.

Hannah W. (Hanes) Closs was definitely a sister of my ancestor Susan (Hanes) Nelson. Their parents' names were William Hanes and Lydia Hale. I have a copy of William's will that names his children, I believe I have an old photo of Lydia (Hale) Hanes, and I also have an old letter from Hannah's grandson William C. Decker (Florine Closs Decker's son) that was written in the 1930's that is asking about the family tree. I would love to compare notes with you and share info.
