Dear Jim,
I have only recently found that there is a connection between the Clovers and the Harness family. I am researching the Clover Family, my husband's mother's line through Thomas Clover, a son of Michael Clover of Jefferson, Mo. Recently I became aware of William Clover, reputedly the father of Michael. William died in 1817, in Monroe Co., and his will sent his 4 minor daughters to the Harness family to be cared for. I have not been able to discover the family connection. You would be doing me a tremendous favor by enlightening me.
