Dick,

My wife's line contains one Louisa (Cook) Boren, b. 1843, Jefferson Co., Mo., d. 1921, Laclede Co., Mo. Louisa is a daughter of Henry Cook and Celia Clover. On her death certificate, her mother's maiden name appears to be written, "Clouer," which foxed me for several years until today, when I stumbled onto the Clover surname and the Meramec Twp., Jefferson Co., connection and realized the probable spelling. Henry and Celia are listed in the 1860 Census index in that township. I see from your postings that it is not your line, but if you or another researcher can help connect me with the families of Henry and Celia, I would be truly grateful, as they have each been end-of-line for me for some time. They were both born (not before the mid-1810s) in Mo., according to Louisa's death certificate, and Celia is supposed to have died in 1861. Three of their Cook children, including Louisa, married Boren siblings.

Thank you for your help, and all the best in your research.

Mark
