Thanks for the message. I have found the Clover family of Buxhall (Isaac and Frances) in the 1841 and 1851 Censuses with nine children born 1826 to 1848. There is no sign of a Robert, but he might fit in there. Do you have access to any parish records? The IGI for Buxhall is not helpful.
We have the following information for our Robert Clover:

1855 Record of marriage registered Thetford, Suffolk of Robert Claver to Mary Ann Malt, father John Malt, Labourer. Witnesses Abraham Bullock (x) and Maria Bullock. Certificate available
1861 Shepherd living Church Street, Gt Ellingham, Norfolk. One son and two daughters in Household
1869 Death registered Wayland, Norfolk
