Hi Mike...
All I know is that our family descended from John Peter Clover who married Catherine sharpe; then they had Paul born in 1750 who had a kid named John Metler in 1794 and John had a son by wife number one, Mary Williams, named Alfred Clover born in 1827 who had a son named Isaac who in turn had a son named Earl who in turn had a son named Leonard (my dad). We met Clovers in Cawker City, Kansas who are cousins and there is a Clover cemetary there where Alfred Clover is buried (these cousins descended from Timothy, brother of Isaac).
Does that mean you and I are related? We are trying to figure out...is the whole family from Prussia? Is that Germany now?
Thanks for replying to my message!
Debbie
