James A Clover Sr. 83 of Natick died Tuesday May 11, 2010 at the Metro West Medical Center in Natick. He was the beloved husband of Maria G (Corbosiero) Clover to whom in June of 2010 he would have been married for 60 years. Born in Natick and a lifelong resident, he was the son of the late George W and Julia M (Martin) Clover. Mr. Clover was a Sergeant on the Natick Police Department retiring December 31, 1990 after 39 years of service. He was a member of the Navy Yard Association of Natick, the Natick Sons of Italy, the Superior Officers Association, and the Massachusetts Police Association. Mr. Clover was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. He was devoted to his wife and children and was a most loving and generous grandfather. In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter Janice C Burke and her husband Peter of Natick, one son James A Clover Jr. and his wife Lisa of Natick five grandchildren, Daniel P Burke, Kaitlyn C Burke ,Michael J Burke, James A Clover III, Andrew L Clover ,all of Natick, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Walter Clover and George Clover. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday May 15 at 9:00 A.M. in St Patricks Church. Burial will follow in St Patrick Cemetery. Visitation in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common will be Saturday Morning, beginning at 7:30 A.M. prior to the Mass. Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to Camp Arrowhead 1055 Worcester Rd, Natick MA 01760
