Dear Ron :

Thank you very much for this additional Clow information. I do appreciate your sharing it with me.

I guess that the next logical step for me is to try and find the marriage of Andrew Clow and Mary Shutts which probably took place in Highgate, VT, about 1840. The Vermont Archives does have some records which go back that far.

It's a shot in the dark . . . but who knows ?
