hi Robert,
Checking my Clow records, Charles Clow married into my maiden name line of Weston. He married Rachel Weston in July 1899. The marriage certificate gives his age as 19. His father is named as Walter Clow, railway labourer.
I made some research into the 1881 census. I found Walter clow aged 35, born in Coventry. Wife Emma (30) born in Naseby, and Sarah M. (3) born in Willesden.
In the 1891 census there is no Walter listed with the family. Emma is named as the householder, Charles is now included with other children born in Willesden, George, and a difficult name to read, possibly Jamie. As these children were born in the 1880s there is every possibility of their offspring marrying in the 1900s. There may well be a link between our families.
If I come across a Reginald I will let you know. Have you checked the 1901 census? copies are only 75p if you find a name match.
