Thanks Jann,
Actually I've met Dana's son Dana (Milo's great grandson) and met with Edna Clow and her children and their children back in 1999. They all live in Mass. We've been trying to backtrack Dana (milo) and got your info about the Hauver/haurer/clow. It had been told down through to Edna that they were part French Canadian Indian(which I know many people are told but isn't actually so). Lillian's parents according to her death certificate were from England (she was born in Canada). So that knocks them out. Actually I'm going to send for her half-sisters death certificate to try and find out the mother's maiden name. Milo's son Dana did move around a lot and I've been told died in New Jersey. Edna told us that she remembered their was someone else being buried that day and they were chanting over their grave and had food and stuff (another culture). His son Dana (who was known as "Buster") died in New Jersey as well. Buster and his siblings were in an orphanage in NY as kids and one time was when the father left and the mother had to put them in because they had the measle and she couldn't take care of them because she was abandaned by their father (on Dec. 29th 1915 - what a Christmas)! Actually when I met with Edna and Dana and their kids, Edna's daughter Florence told me that she was sent to live with Josie in Mass while she was a child. I have that address somewhere if you're interested.
