Are you a descendant of family listed below? Lucius B. SHEPARDSON's mother-in-law was Lydia WEBSTER MOWRY, my maternal 4 great grandmother.

LUCIUS BARNEY2 SHEPARDSON  (JOHN BARNEY1) was born November 22, 1837 in Guilford, Windham County, Vermont [VT], and died September 28, 1933 in Pacific Grove, Monterey County, California [CA].  He was the son of  JOHN BARNEY SHEPARDSON and LYDIA MOWRY. 
He married ALICE A. CLOW.  She was born November 1844 in Nova Scotia, Canada.
                   i.    BERTHA3 SHEPARDSON, b. November 30, 1865, Wisconsin [WI]; d. July 26, 1943, Monterey County, California.
                  ii.    HELENE SHEPARDSON, b. Abt. 1868, Wisconsin.
                 iii.    MARY SHEPARDSON, b. Abt. 1871, Wisconsin.
                 iv.    LUCIA SHEPARDSON, b. September 03, 1880, California; d. August 21, 1959, Monterey County, California; m. PAUL DEWOLF; b. November 11, 1883, Kansas [KS]; d. August 10, 1965, Santa Cruz County, California .
                  v.    FLORENCE SHEPARDSON, b. November 09, 1887, California; d. October 16, 1977, Monterey County, California; m. RICHARD CHIVERS; b. October 17, 1869, England; d. March 06, 1953, Monterey County, California.
