Searching for further information regarding Jean/Jane Mowat born Dec. 12, 1842 in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, d. Jan. 10, 1922 Fraserburgh. Parents John Mouat/Mowat and Helen Dickie. Jean was first married on May 23, 1876 in Fraserburg, Aberdeenshire to William Clubb. William Clubb was born abt. 1840, d. Jan. 22, 1880 Mountsollie, Fraserburg.It does not appear that Jean had any children with William Clubb. I think that William's father was probably a James Clubb. I believe that William also had a brother Alexander. Jean then married on Oct. 18, 1888 in Pitsligo Alexander Leask b. abt. 1832. Alexander Leask and Jean had at least one son by the name of James Leask.
