Dear peggy,I must tell you the info. on Lorena Shell Eakers,is somewhat confusing to me...the England Genealogial Service mentions a Lorence Shell Eakers, and this person had written on "The Germans in North Carolina",which appeared in the journal,The Palatine Immigrant,vol.6 section 1,published in 1980.Is this the same person? Lorena Shell Eakers?I believe she had her book published in 1994? In this article there is mentioned of a Casper/Gasper Klob,a relative in Germany. In the article it spells the surname: Klob,Club.I don't know if this is the same person who published the book in 1994 or not? In this article Peter Club immigrated to North Carolina in 1748.It mentions him in the militia, and his son Peter Klob/Club{my ancestral line},in a 1784 deed. I believe I have info that this Peter Club, the immigrant, was in Lancaster co.,Pa in 1746-48,from church records for his children,Christina Barbara,1746{ he is Peter Klopp in this church record},George,1748{mentions his wife Margaret in this church record and the spelling is Klob} .It's possible he was in Lancaster co.,Pa by 1746 ,but I'm not sure.I not really sure what more info you can find on him, but anything you can add to this would be appreciated. They are still some holes that are needing to be filled on this Peter Klopp/Clobb/Club/Clubb,of North Carolina..Thanks for your comments...Dan
