Hi Lynda

From your messages on it appears that you are descended from William Henry Clubine and Lucy Brown. That would make us distant cousins (about 4th cousins) as our Brown family records show that Lucy's father was James Brown, brother to our ancestor John Brown who with his wife Hannah Chambers and young children, had immigrated to Upper Canada in 1840, from Kent, England. James and a 3rd brother George also immigrated to Canada at that time. We have a photo of James and his wife Mary and perhaps you would like a copy. James' mother Lydia, and a sister Lucy came to Canada in later years and are buried at Newmarket, Ontario. Presumably the father George Brown had died in England. A 4th brother William Brown had also remained in England.

We have extensive information on the descendants of John Brown and Hannah Chambers, and a little on the other branches of the family, and will be pleased to share.

Would be very much interested in any data on the descendants of Lucy and William Henry.
