In checking my Cluggage info I find a number of Jane's. I show:
Robert Cluggage who died around 1763-1770.
wf. Janet(Jane)
Children:
Robert - unmarried
James - wf. Ann and 6 children
(had a Jane who m. James Cluggage)
George - unmarried
Gaven - wf. Mgt Davis 5 children
(had a Jane m. Mathew Gilliland)
Francis - wf. Jane 10 children
(had a Jane who m. James Hannah)
Thomas - wf. 1 child
(had a Jean(Jane)m. Daniel Montague
Do you have any date for the marriage? I would think that one of these Jane's husband died young and she remarried. Francis who died in 1804 would be my guess.
