We think Jacob is the grandson of John Abraham Clum of NY in the Phillip Clum/Veronica Lasher line...Phillip being the first one here. Jacob was b VA in 1774, son of John Clum of VA b 1751 in either VA or NY. Other Clum researchers, Mrs. C.M. Wittof of NY and Virginia (Klum) Reichelt of Florida (both dec'd) point to that lineage, but we have no PROOF as yet. ...a mystery yet to be solved. I sure would like to tie him into the NY bunch for sure, but there were so Many Clums/Klums in the Hudson Riv. Valley at that time. Hope some one in NY will stumble across some proof one of these years
