I have a Julia E. Clum who married William Alexander Hopkins(b1867) in Decatur Co., Iowa on Nov. 7, 1886. He was born June 21, 1867, the son of William Hopkins(1829-1890) and Elizabeth Horner of Monmouth Co., NJ. They were Mormons. Many NJ Hopkins went to Wayne Co., NY in the 1790's. Wayne Co., NY is where Joseph Smith found the golden plates and so began Mormonism. I'm looking for the parents of William Hopkins 1829 NJ-1890 IA, husband of Eliz. Horner.
