I am new to research on the Clum family. However, this may be a clue for post 214 - Jemama Clum married Levi Swan. One of their daughters, Fannie A Swan was my g(2) grandmother. Fannie was born in 1840 and married in 1861, both in Ohio.
I have Jemama born in 1810, married after 1830. Have not confirmed the names of her parents - father may have been John. It would be more likely she named her daughter after her mother, not her step mother, though that't not conclusive either. But, a marriage date prior to 1810 would certainly be possible based on Jemama's DOB.
