I can confirm that the Clunas's are part of the Mackenzie clan, I have recntly returned to live in Nairn after an absence of 18 years
I always understood that my forebears originated in Daviot then moved to Auldearn (some 3 miles East of Nairn) then my Grandfather Hugh Clunas moved to Nairn.
There is a family tree in existence and would be happy to help if you can give any data on Names and dates of birth in order to compare with the chart.

I know the local churchyards well and have found the gravestones of Clunas's I cannot find a link to.
