1901 census Bradford W. Yorks: my paternal grandfather, ernest, was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire in ?1891; His siblings were alice maude (b1889 Leicester), Gertrude (b?) and one more (?boy/girl). His parents were joseph (b london 1850) and margaret alice (b london 1868). Joseph's father was thomas (b 1825 Ireland - general labourer) He was living in a workhouse in london at this time (1901). Ernest married mary ann hackett in 1919 in Hull. It is thought that he spent some of his childhood in an orphanage, possibly in Bradford. If anyone has any clues please let me know. thanks
