Lizbeth Flutcher McCorkle's obit was printed on Oct.9; an excerpt gives her husband as "Col.John McCorkle" in which case:

McCorkle, John Williams
John Williams McCorkle - Colorado Springs Gazette - May 21, 2002 - John Williams McCorkle, 49, died May 17 in Colorado Springs. He was a native of Colorado; born in Pueblo on Nov. 7, 1952 to Nesbit & Muriel Yvonne (Williams) McCorkle, and moved to Colorado Springs in 1985. He was an Associate Nuclear Engineer with Kaman Sciences. Mr. McCorkle married Barbara Ellen "Barb" (Lacy) on May 13, 1989, who survives. He is also survived by children, Christian M. McCorkle, Alex M. McCorkle, Breanne Standingwater, Jennifer Saultz & Brian Rugg; grandchildren, Lauren & Adam; a brother, Kent McCorkle; cousin, Marilyn McCorkle. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judy Pitcher. A memorial service will be held on Wed., May 22, at 10:00 am at the Central Christian Church, 2002 W. Pikes Peak Avenue. Memorial contributions may be made to Ent FCU, The McCorkle Children's Memorial Fund, PO Box 15819, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
