OBIT-Mary Blanchard, 88, dau of John J and Margaret V [Toomey] Coady
MADISON, New Hampshire -- Mary (Coady) Blanchard died Sunday, May 2nd, 2010, at her home in Madison, New Hampshire. She was 88 years old.
The daughter of Margaret V. (Toomey) and John J. Coady, Mary was born in Sharon, MA, grew up in Somerville, MA, and graduated from Saint Clement's High School. She lived in Westford, MA for over 50 years before moving to New Hampshire in 2006 to be with her daughter.
For several years, she was the face of the Honeywell Employees Credit Union, traveling from one Honeywell office to another as the roving Credit-Union Representative.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Blanchard, as well as her two brothers, Jim and Jack.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Peg Blanchard of Madison, NH; her son, Paul Blanchard Jr. of Westford, MA and his wife, Debbie Blanchard; four grandchildren, Mari Blanchard and her partner, Jason Hernandez, Paul Blanchard III and his wife, Megan Blanchard, Michael Vanderhoof, and Suzanne Vanderhoof.
Suzanne's daughter, Sophia, is Mary's first great-grandchild; Paul Blanchard III and Megan are expecting Mary's second great-grandchild in September.
Mary also leaves behind two nephews, James Powers of Billerica, and Ken Coady, a long-time resident of Somerville, presently living in Needham.
A celebration of her life will be held at her "old" house in Westford, MA on Saturday, June 26th.
