Joseph Patrick Coady

I am searching for any information regarding my Grandfather Joseph Patrick Coady believed to have been in the Irish Guard. I believe he came over to England in approximately 1898 - 1900. He married in England and settled in Plymouth until he died in about the 1940s. He was a keen pigeon fancier. He was 6 feet 5 and owned the first Penny Farthing bike in Plymouth! He died a recluse at Wrangaton South Brent. Any information would be gratefully received.
